President Javier Milei celebrated the victory of La Libertad Avanza in the 2025 legislative elections. "Today we passed the turning point. Today begins the construction of a great Argentina ," he stated to his supporters. He did so after a brief speech by his sister, Karina Milei, who opened the event by thanking those who worked for the victory.
Javier Milei took the microphone and highlighted the popular support. "I would be a hypocrite if I didn't thank everyone who supported the ideas of freedom to make Argentina great again," he said. He emphasized the joy of the people and the symbolism of the color violet in the celebration.
"Today was a historic day. The Argentine people left decadence behind and opted for progress," he added. He emphasized that the day marked a decisive change and the beginning of a path of national reconstruction.
The president made special mention of Karina Milei and Santiago Caputo, whom he described as "two giants." He also thanked former Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein, replaced by Pablo Quirno, and the main representatives of the ruling party present on the stage: Manuel Adorni, Patricia Bullrich, and Diego Santilli.
Javier Milei praised the single paper ballot and the organization of the electoral process. “Today has clearly been a historic day for Argentina.
